Sonny wants his money back, but the biker gangs, Cuban gangsters, and corrupt politicians stand in his way. Most of Vice City seems to want Tommy dead. His only answer is to fight back, and take over Vice City himself… After spending fifteen years in prison for a mafia bust in the 1970&#39;s, Tommy Vercetti has returned to work for Sonny Forelli, the mob boss that cost him his original jail sentence. He arrives in Vice City and is targeted for a setup that leads to the loss of Forelli&#39;s drug money, and Forelli demands that Tommy get him the money back. Vice City is a land of corrupt police, adulterous politicians, unrighteous religious leaders, and a bitter population controlled by murderous gangs and mafia lords. With everyone gunning for Tommy, his only chance for survival is to fight back. Armed with an attorney and a group of allies, Tommy sets out to defeat Vice City through real estate, gang wars, and anti-mafia mayhem. SOME SPOILERS AHEAD<br/><br/>This game is so wrong on many levels. Blowing up property, killing pizza delivery boys, pimping hookers, shooting it out with cops, starting riots, how morally absent!<br/><br/>But who cares? This game is pure fun. I love the soundtrack. And the plot. This is more of an interactive movie than a plain old video game. It&#39;s a great harmless way to take out your anger. The dialogue is hilarious too. I predict this will inspire people to write crime dramas more than it will inspire people to steal cars and cause trouble. Has there been a dramatic rise in crime since this game&#39;s release? Didn&#39;t think so.<br/><br/>Everybody should get this game. It isaddictivecoke, but much cheaper, and minus all the negative side effects. This is by far the best sandbox game ever produced. For its time it was revolutionary in so many ways. Grand Theft Auto/Rockstar has continued to set the high water mark in this type of game and other producers have taken their cue from them. <br/><br/>Graphics: While now these graphics are notsharpthe current run of sandbox/first person shooters. At the time, it was the top of its class. Even today the experience is fantastic and my first trip to Miami left me saying, &quot;I have been here before.&quot; 10/10<br/><br/>Sound: the music and radio programs are absolutely second to none. Ambient sound is fantastic and one of the highlights for me was the sound of shells hitting the groundI shot of the streets of Vice City. In addition, the voice work was unlike anything before or since with a star packed lineup of actors that truly added to the overall experience. 10/10<br/><br/>Controls: the controls for this game are very good. Improvements in later editions suchGTA:SA addressed the minor limitations for the controls in the game play. 9/10<br/><br/>Story: while a couple of the missions are a little far-fetched, they are entertaining and don&#39;t feel repetitive. The overall storyline is engrossing and demands repeat play. As mentioned above, the voice acting truly gets the player into a situation in which they feel like they are a part of the game. I was Tommy Verceti. 10/10<br/><br/>Gameplay: With the minor issues in controls and the inability to enter the water without dying, the game play did need some tweaking which was handled in later versions. This however, did not take away from the overall experience which was excellent and addictive. This was a resounding 10/10.
